In pursuit of this goal, Toyota R&D4 Connected Technologies (CT), headquartered in Brussels, takes responsibility for devising, planning and executing the European strategy for connected, multimedia, and mobility services.

The Business Planning Office Finance (BPO Finance) plays a pivotal role in managing the operating profit of the Connected Technologies business and monitoring the achievement of profitability targets. Special attention to investment spending and cost reduction activities is essential to ensure long-term profitability and a healthy breakeven point.

Your responsibilities:

As a Business Analyst Specialist in the Business Planning Finance Team, you will work in close collaboration with the Senior Specialist of the team and with all the other CT Business Units. Your responsibilities include:

1. 1. Managing the Operating Profit of the Connected Technologies business:
      • Assess and make accurate forecasts of revenue and cost, and measure actual performance.
      • Lead the annual budget preparation, including tracking actuals and updating quarterly forecasts.
      • Support the Mid Term Business Plan (MTBP) process, ensuring coordination across all business units and securing the company's target achievement.
      • Report to R&D4 Management on financial status, including profit and investment spending projections.
   2. Effective partnership with BPO Cost Planning, Pricing, and Indirect Purchasing teams:
      • Ensure the correct reflection of revenues in the Mid Term Business Plan and budget.
      • Collaborate effectively to control and reduce Connected Services costs.
   3. Supporting Business Acceleration initiatives:
      • Assess and guide CT Business Units in creating compelling business cases.
      • Provide insights during Gate Meetings.
   4. Other BPO support activities:
      • Participate in activities such as the Environmental Action Plan, MyVoice, training, and ensuring members' well-being and motivation.

Your profile

• You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
• Genuine interest in Mobility and Vehicle Connectivity Solutions
• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Management Engineering
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to translate data analysis and results into clear visuals to support effective decision making
• Excellent at communicating complex ideas through clear and compelling presentations tailored to diverse audiences
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI tool design
• Capable of integrating built-in quality in activities and tasks to ensure the accuracy of aggregated results
• Organized and structured
