Responsible for the efficient planning and execution of all goods transactions in the warehouse for the smooth supply of parts and accessories to our customer.

Toyota Parts Centre Denmark ensures availability and delivery of parts and accessories for TOYOTA and LEXUS vehicles in Denmark.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for his shift, related to organisation, planning and coordination of the daily distribution of employees and equipment (Heath & Safety, Quality, Performance, On-Time-Operations, 5S, SOP’s)
  • Ensure day to day standard operations. Responsible for the timely and proper handling of all warehouse operational processes in its area.
  • Ensure all necessary workflows and processes in assigned areas, like of unloading, receiving, storage, picking, sorting, loading, shipping goods issue as well as physical inventory, transfer actions and returns.
  • Guide, coach and support Team Leaders. Promote kaizen activities, positively contributes to the upgrade of site JES (Job Element Sheet) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), TPS approach and support QCC’s (Quality Control Circles).
  • Manage Team and members, related to safety, quality, cost, concerns, engagement, attendance at work, performance, discipline according to the company guide lines (Toyota Way and Code of Conduct).
  • Conduct employee meetings – appraisals, return to work discussions etc
  • Be a “problem solver”:  Perform root cause analysis and countermeasures. Understands KPI-, status- and abnormality reports for all warehouse related processes.
  • Actively support company KPIs and targets. Review and consensus countermeasures always considering the bigger picture – internal customers, external customers, the other shift etc..
  • Cover Assistant Warehouse Manager absence.
  • Support Associates and Team Leaders’ questions relating to operations and AS400 system.
  • Manage and monitor compliance with safety regulations and the Toyota internal Safety guidelines and implements the safety and Ergo tools for all the core and sub-core tasks of the warehouse. Stops any warehouse operations with which is NOK related to safety.
  • Briefs his/her shift on performance, volumes, health and safety and other relevant information.
  • Be a 5S leader and role model for the shift.

 

Who are we looking for?

Your profile

  • Training/Degree in Business studies (specialization in logistics) or completed apprenticeship as a logistics, forwarding or production trade clerk with additional further business education
  • 3-5 years warehouse / production experience
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Experienced in leading a team or group
  • Team and persuasive ability
  • Conflict management
  • Ability to make (unpopular) decisions
  • Good time management
  • Stress resistant
  • Good Understanding of The Toyota Way & TPS
  • Knowledge of the AS400 system as user is an asset

  • Good in MS Office
