Team/division description

           

Within the Quality Function of Toyota’s European Headquarter, the Quality Planning team is a dynamic, multicultural team responsible for Toyota’s Pan-European quality strategy, Quality Mindset promotion & trainings as well as operating corporate quality meetings and the quality standards system. For these activities, the team is closely collaborating with other departments in Quality Function as well as other divisions.

 

Your project

You will be working on an improvement project for our Pan-European quality standards system to support the efficiency level-up of the operations. We are in the process of transitioning to an updated system and with your help aim to further accelerate improvements. This involves:

  • Supporting ideation and documentation of detailed user requirements for Phase 2 of the next generation system
  • Analyse customer usage patterns to support new feature development for the next generation system
  • Supporting software development of next generation system, user acceptance testing as well as automation programming within the current IT system
  • Developing concepts for data mining and data analysis
  • Supporting users with the existing system
  • Supporting the creation of standardised reports in Power BI.

For the whole project you will be supported by our members in charge of the system and its Kaizen activities.

 

Who are we looking for?

Your profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You are a bachelor or master student at university or comparable, studies related to Information Technologies are a plus
  • You have strong analytical skills
  • You are a team player with good communication skills and are able to present data in a clear and logical way
  • You are objective and fact-driven and have a creative & innovative mindset
  • You are organized and have a proactive attitude
  • You are proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Power BI, Power App, Power Automate)
  • Experience of agile project management and the role of Project Owners are an asset

  •  6 months

Confidentiality

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
