The Inventory Controller ensures optimal parts availability across Central and Eastern Europe, manages forecasting, inventory, and warehouse efficiency, and collaborates with Toyota’s local and international teams. Strong analytical skills, ERP knowledge, and fluency in German and English are key. Toyota values courage, collaboration, curiosity, creativity, and coaching.

Get to know your team and responsibilities

The Inventory Controller plays a central role in the organization and is the key point of contact for the warehousing strategy, planning, availability and stock level of parts and accessories.

 

 

  • Ensure best-in-class service parts availability for all Toyota and Lexus dealers in Austria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia and Adriatic countries.
  • Responsible for adequate Inventory Control through demand planning, and forecasting.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis on possible stock / parts flow issues and suggest and implement appropriate countermeasures in cooperation local and internationally based colleagues.
  • Support efficiency improvements activities in warehouse through location optimization and picking route optimization.
  • Contact person towards TME inventory control (Toyota Motor Europe)
  • Contact person towards NMSC (National Marketing & Sales Company) on local parts availability and ETA inquiries
  • Create / review / amend full set of IC Manuals and standard operating procedures. (SOP’s)
  • Monitor and maintain KPI’s with clear escalation to Management
  • Attending daily / weekly Safety, Management & Planning / KPI meetings

 

Who are we looking for?

Your profile

Education:                                   

  • Bachelor of Science.
  • Business education is an asset.

Experience:                                 

  • 1-5 years in logistic, production or automotive industry

Skills:                                            

  • Good ERP System knowledge (MS Office, Power BI)
  • Excellent data handling and mathematical analytical skills
  • Inventory management experience
  • Understanding of Just in Time / Pull System
  • Excellent German & English skills       
  • Able to interact with varying levels of Management
  • Knowledge of automotive industries and market
