We are seeking a highly motivated Master's student to join our team as an intern, focusing on the implementation and experimentation of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision-Language Models (VLLMs). This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies in a hands-on, research-driven environment

Role Description:

The selected intern will be responsible for working directly with advanced LLMs and VLLMs, implementing innovative solutions, and conducting experiments to explore the full capabilities of these models. The intern will gain experience in both backend development and user-facing applications, building interactive tools and pipelines that leverage the power of these models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and experiment with LLMs and VLLMs, focusing on practical applications and innovative use cases.
  • Develop and deploy interactive applications using Streamlit to demonstrate model capabilities.
  • Utilize tools such as Langchain and Langgraph to create efficient workflows and integrate language models.
  • Collaborate with a team of AI researchers to brainstorm, design, and test new ideas

Who are we looking for?

Your profile

    •  
    • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
    • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
    • Strong proficiency in Python programming.
    • Experience with Langchain, Langgraph, and Streamlit.
    • Strong interest in natural language processing, machine learning, and model experimentation.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying machine learning models.
    • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
    • Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools.
    • Previous experience in a research setting or relevant internship experience.

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
