Team description

 

Connected Technologies (CT) division has a clear focus on the Smart Car of Tomorrow and developing new related business opportunities. The strategy team is responsible to establish the holistic connected strategy across the different digital products as well as the business model strategy. The strategy team is also responsible to structure market insights (customers / trends / competition) in order to feed and make evolve the strategy direction and feed the organisation into developing innovative and future oriented products.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for the Connected EV Customer Experience
  • Business Owner of EV Multimedia (Platform)
    • Advocate for key EV features — identified through research — to be included in future software updates
    • Benchmark competitor EV vehicles and report findings to management, integrating insights into Customer Journey mapping and software update prioritisation
    • Influence and align management on proposed functionality to secure core EV features within multimedia updates
    • Collaborate closely with TMNA and TMC to ensure TME EV Voice of the Customer is represented in multimedia planning

 

  • Lead EV app planning activities and support external stakeholders with EV initiatives for One App
    • Drive core EV projects in the app that could provide a commercial or experiential benefit to Toyota CT i.e. Battery Health Coaching
    • Maintain accurate timelines for key projects and report them to wider stakeholders including management.
    • Lead Key EV projects for the mobile app following Toyota’s PDCA framework (Battery Health Coaching, Journey Planner)

 

  • Actively participate in the business accelerator process, including scoring ideas, progressing EV projects through Gate reviews, and supporting wider project teams

 

  • Conduct gap analysis and market research to build a backlog of potential future features and services for BEV / Monitor and synthesise emerging trends within the BEV space to inform forward-looking planning

Who are we looking for?

Your profile

  • You are fluent in English (business language), and you have knowledge of another European language as an added value
  • You hold a degree (Economics, Business, Engineering, Project Management, etc.)
  • You are a team player and leader who can collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • You are creative, rigorous, challenging, and persevering, with a focus on achieving high-quality results
  • You analyse complex issues and communicate clearly with management and key stakeholders
  • You demonstrate proven capabilities in negotiation and in reaching consensus
  • You are an enthusiast of connected cars, digital apps, technology, and mobility transformation
  • You have 4–8 years of professional experience in Automotive, Mobility, IT, Connected, or Project Management fields
  • You are computer literate (Microsoft, Power BI, JIRA, etc.)
