Parts Supply Chain Group mission is to deliver the right product (service parts, accessories and information) at the right time, through lean integrated logistics, exceeding Customer & Stakeholder expectation, with engaged members realising a sustainable future.

These parts arrive from different suppliers or plants all over the world to Diest (Belgium), where they are distributed directly to the final customer or to our Regional Depots/ National sales companies.

Our Network structure staffs 1500 Toyota members, we deliver to over 3500 garages and 44 regional warehouses within Europe, Belarus and North Africa.

Your responsibilities

  • On-time launch new parts: Assure on-time availability of Supplier quality inspection documents
  • Act as problem solver in case of non-conformities : from ensuring quick containment actions to guarantee supply continuity, through developing root cause evaluation and implementing corrective countermeasures to avoid reoccurence
  • Supplier development: Set-up and co-ordinate supplier improvement quality performance programs to achieve break-through in build-in quality
  • Warranty improvement: Reduce market complaints by analysing and improving warranty performance of suppliers you will take control on overseas inbound logistics
  • Daily/weekly KPI input incl PFUS and regular reporting regarding HOLD, Market feed-back, SCIR, …. to increase management efficiency.
  • Administrative support (input in webtool) for local parts & accessories.
  • Support in kaizen activities for packaging improvements through go & see in the warehouse, data analysis, parts comparison.
  • Analyse data on Mainframe applications, webtool and Access database to determine trends to allow action setting

Who are we looking for?

Your profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • Education level & general experience: 
  • Master Degree in Engineering area
  • 1-5 years experience working in supplier quality control and quality tools (ex. AQP /PPAP)
  • Customer oriented
  • Open to get & give feedback through frequent and efficient alignment-meetings
  • Working in a team where diverse personalities & perspectives provide better solutions.

 

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of technical drawings, production techniques, and process flows
  • You have good knowledge of automotive quality tools and quality management systems
  • Familarity with MS programs, Problem solving techniques (8D), AQP, PPAP, process flow mapping

 

Competencies:

  • Project management skills: Manage in an efficient way multiple project milestones
  • Problem solving including ability to define quickly containement actions and in-dept rootcause analysis and countermeasure implementation and follow-up
  • Analyse & understand supplier part production process and able to detect missing links and/or kaizen potential
  • Good analytical and logical deduction skills
  • Negotiation skills based on facts & figures
