Team description
[Research and Development (R&D) in Europe is responsible for the planning, the development and the production of attractive, superior quality cars matching European market requirements. R&D aims to strengthen the Toyota brand in Europe.
TME Powertrain Testing departments’ responsibilities are:
- Evaluation of HEV and BEV Powertrain components (engine, motor, transmission, battery and related parts).
- Support the shift to electrification by investigating European trends for e-Axles and components.
- Calibrate and evaluate Hybrid powertrain to realize EU customer demand and EU regulation.
- Validate Model Based Development.
- Evaluate EU new powertrain technologies for future TOYOTA mass-production.
- Homologation Emission Testing
- Fuel Cell Module Testing and customer support
All of this by following the Toyota 5C principles being Courage, Creativity, Curiosity, Coaching and Collaboration to continuously develop ourselves, embracing diversity, equity and inclusiveness.
Your responsibilities
- Fuel Cell Module preparation for different applications.
- Fuel Cell Module instrumentation (e.g. Thermocouples, Pressure sensors, ….)
- Fuel Cell Module installation, testing and removal on our Fuel Cell Test Bench
- Perform Quality Assurance tests on the Fuel Cell Modules produced by our Manufacturing Team
- Data measurement, analysis and reporting to Engineering Team.
- Commissiong support for the different type of Fuel Cell Module applications at different customers
- Perform troubleshooting in-house as well as at different customers
- Fuelling/ de-fuelling/ other preparation activities on Hydrogen powered vehicles
- Fuel Cell component removal/ installation/ testing
