Team description

 

Toyota Parts Centre Hellas (TPCEL), located in Aspropirgos, Attika, ensures availability and delivery of parts and accessories for TOYOTA and LEXUS vehicles in GREECE, BULGARIA, CYPRUS, N. MACEDONIA  and ALBANIA.

The warehouse in Greece employs approximately thirty (30) people (both office and warehouse) and stores some 54000 part numbers.

 

Purpose of the position and responsibilities

Responsible for planning and scheduling parts and accessories availability and stock levels for TOYOTA Logistics Services Hellas and Toyota Motor Europe within the above-mentioned territory. Acts as ISO 14001 Coordinator.

 

Inventory planning and analysis

  1. Main responsible for the timely procurement, provision, updating and maintenance of all the basic data, necessary for demand planning.
  2. Primarily responsible for the creation and transfer of demand factors as costing parameters to TME and other suppliers for determining the initial stock of parts and accessories for new and modified models.
  3. Execution of target/actual comparisons to verify the planning data. Analyses inventories, part movements and replacement times to parameterize demand planning systems, considering challenging objectives (high availability with low stocks) and develops suggestions for optimization
  4. Coordinates the quantity planning of parts and accessories with suppliers and arranges for timely procurement. Observes the order intake development and inventory situation and informs TPCEL Management and TPCE with a view to initiating short-term countermeasures to achieve targets.
  5. Develops and plans the initial stock for parts and accessories for new dealers based on reliability analysis for various dealer segments

Disposition 

  1. Responsible for the check as well as the timely and appropriate release of the warehouse replenishment order quantities. Responsible for the initiation of short-term procurement measures for stock-critical parts, taking strict consideration of procurement costs.
  2. Responsible for the condition and on-time processing of all procurement operations and their tracking, including reminder stumbling to suppliers in the event of non-compliance, impending delay, goods receipt differences and invoice control.
  3. Obtain sales plan for after sales and sales accessories to apply accurate forecasting and create standard monthly forecasts, considering the expected inventory situation.
  4. Makes target/actual comparisons for the timely initiation of countermeasures in the event of deviations. Controls the production planning for production materials (e.g. complete wheels) on its own responsibility, considering sales plans and scheduling agreements of the individual components.

Reporting/Information 

  1. Checks in-depth information about defective parts or faulty or incomplete part for compliance and agrees necessary measures with all stakeholders.
  2. Participates in the development of proposals for the further development and optimisation of systems, as well as other work equipment in his area of responsibility.
  3. Providing regular management information about the above activities (success control, regular status reports) as well as commentary on the content.

ISO14001 Coordinator 

  1. Responsible to update all environment related data the for the company
  2. Contact person for certified waste collectors
  3. Contact person for environmental consultants
  4. Responsible for environmental reports towards authorities

Who are we looking for?

Your profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME business language) and in Greek.
  • You hold Bachelor's degree or higher and you bring 3 to 5 years of experience in inventory within logistics, production, or the automotive industry.
  • You are comfortable working with MS Office, AS400, Mainframe, Power BI and Oracle.
  • You have a solid understanding of Just-in-Time and Pull System principles.
  • Experience with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, environmental reporting, and coordination with environmental stakeholders is considered a strong asset.
  • You possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • You combine excellent mathematical abilities with a highly analytical mindset.
  • You have a good understanding of the automotive industry and market dynamics.
