Team description
Research and Development (R&D) in Europe is responsible for the planning, the development and the production of attractive, superior quality cars matching European market requirements. R&D aims to strengthen the Toyota product & image in Europe.
The Powertrain software control Department is part of the Powertrain division. Our core activity is the definition of the Powertrain Electronic Control Unit (ECU) control logics & parameter values in order to meet and exceed the various requirements placed upon modern vehicles.
While our key focus today is on Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV), we are expanding our range of applications including Plug-In Hybrid Electric vehicles (PHEV) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV).
Furthermore, in order to fulfill regulatory requirements and continuously improve our product power, we develop processes to collect representative market data, confirm the quality/plausibility of the data, perform effective analysis of the data and reflect conclusions to vehicle development.
Finally, building on our core competencies in system control, we are expanding our area of influence to new applications with focus on Real-Time Big Data (RTBD), Data Science and Machine Learning with the aim to improve the customer products/services and maximize our operational efficiency.
Your responsibilities
As member of the Powertrain Software Control Team, you will be responsible of projects within the framework of mass production activities to contribute to the development of ever better vehicles.
For TME Graduate positions we are targeting recent University Graduates (less than 18 months of experience excluding internships)
