Team description

 

Compliance / Legal & Compliance Division

 

Provide first class legal support to help TME achieve its business and strategic goals.  Compliance: ensure TME complies with the relevant laws and regulations, incl. GDPR and competition law. Coordinate Compliance within TME divisions and affiliates.

 

 

Your responsibilities

 

    • Develop and Implement Compliance Programs: As 2nd line of defense, create and manage comprehensive compliance programs for GDPR and other emerging regulations.
    • Create and Maintain Frameworks and Policies: Create and maintain control frameworks, requirements and policies for regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor Regulatory Changes: Stay informed about regulatory changes and ensure the organization adapts promptly and effectively.
    • Monitor & Manage GDPR Risk: Perform regular risk & compliance assessments, evaluate & monitor compliance risks & risk treatment plans
    • Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and awareness programs to educate employees about compliance requirements and best practices.
    • Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with IT, legal, and other departments to ensure cohesive and integrated compliance efforts.

 

Who are we looking for?

Your profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • Master’s degree in law, IT, or a related field.
  • Between 3- 5 years of experience in data protection or privacy role.
  • Skills.
    • Strong knowledge of GDPR and other data protection regulations.
    • Basic knowledge of IT architecture, good knowledge of cybersecurity and technical measures for compliance
    • Good understanding of compliance and risk management
    • Good knowledge of relevant standards for compliance and risk management e.g. ISO standards
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with GRC & privacy management software.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Additional certifications (preferred): Certification in data protection or privacy (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT).
