Team description

In R&D Connected Technologies, you will be at the forefront of Toyota’s transformation into a mobility company, planning and building digital products and connected user experiences. Your role will be instrumental in enhancing our product portfolio.

Your responsibilities

• Define robust Connected products, translating the customer journey into compelling use cases and product requirements.
• Maintain strict compliance with European laws and regulations, including GDPR, cybersecurity, and software update, for all connected products and services developed for Toyota smart cars.
• Prioritize the backlog, meticulously evaluating customer benefits, business viability, and technical feasibility, while ensuring alignment with global & local developments.
• Oversee the technical feasibility assessments of our product leads, fostering close coordination with global & local development teams.
• You supervise quality, ensuring connected services meet Toyota quality standard following end-to-end testing process and resolution of any deviation.
• Manage product budget according to planning and adapt with creative ideas if necessary.
• Build compelling business case, founded on our business model, consolidated cost & profit, gaining approval through project milestones by TME & TMC executives.

Who are we looking for?

Your profile

• You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
• You have experience in automotive connected product or services
• You have experience working with smartphones applications and smartphones makers
• You have proven project management expertise
• You have a strong technical background in building connected solutions
• You have a proactive and challenging mindset
• You are adaptable in a rapidly evolving environment
