Team/division description

           

Circular Economy & Energy Business function plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of Toyota Business by contributing to new mobility solutions & society. The team contributes to strategy & technology development, regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement and the identification of innovative circular economy & energy business opportunities.

The team works closely with internal functions, external partners, industry associations and European stakeholders to accelerate the transition towards sustainable future mobility and more resource-efficient and circular automotive ecosystem.

 

Your project

 

As a Circular Economy & Energy Business Intern, you will support ongoing strategic projects related to energy, more specifically in BEV charging, circularity and resource efficiency within Toyota Motor Europe.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Conduct desk research on trends, policies and best practices regarding circular economy and/or BEV charging in the automotive sector
  • Support analysis of European BEV charging and circular economy regulations
  • Propose initiatives and business models
  • Collect, structure and analyse related data
  • Support preparation of management presentations, reports and executive summaries
  • Benchmark competitors and industry practices
  • Contribute to stakeholder workshops and project meetings

Who are we looking for?

Your profile

  • You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
  • You are currently enrolled in a Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Circular Economy, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Public Relations or a related field
  • You have a strong interest in BEV electrification and circular economy topics
  • You are interested in the automotive industry and future mobility solutions
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You are comfortable working with data and preparing structured analyses
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with policy and regulation analysis and reporting on sustainability, life cycle assessment, BEV public charging, environmental policy or data analysis is considered an asset
  • You are proactive, curious and eager to learn
  • You enjoy working in an international and multicultural environment

Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.

 

It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.

 

We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
