Team description

The ‘Workforce Transformation’ team is a strategic department, part of TME’s People & Innovation Function (P&I), in charge of all employee related policies & process.

Our team’s mission is to build an agile organization, and a workforce optimized to take advantage of new mobility business opportunities, through total workforce planning (i.e. structure, heads & cost).  On top of this, we are responsible for driving P&I’s long-term strategy.  (Think: What would a successful HR function look like by 2030.)

Under this mission, one of our ambitions is to stimulate efficient use of resources, and provide effective support to (Top) Management in making recruitment decisions.

Your responsibilities

You will be supporting the Workforce Transformation team on following priorities:

  1. Contingent workforce strategy & management

In recent years, TME’s recruitment strategy has been built around providing sustainable employment, which has resulted in a strong focus on permanent contracts.  Today however, we notice the labour market is pivoting towards greater flexibility.  New types of flexible contracts are on the rise, also in TME.  It’s in this area that we would appreciate your support:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a company-wide contingent workforce policy, in collaboration with our colleagues in Purchasing, IT&D, Legal and A&F functions.
  • Drive the implementation of a newly selected Vendor Management System (VMS).
  • Collaborate with our newly appointed external partner (a Managed Service Provider; MSP), tasked with the operational execution of the contingent workforce programme.
  • Support hiring managers in making the appropriate hiring and contract type decision, and liaise regularly with our Talent Acquisition team.
  • Oversee the programme’s day-to-day performance, manage each function’s contingent workforce budget, and ensure regular reporting on cost efficiency & overall results.
  • Leverage effective change management practices to support the organisation's transition toward a Total Cost of Workforce approach, fostering increased awareness for cost competitiveness across all workforce-related decisions.

  1. People & Innovation strategy & internal collaboration
    • Support the development and ongoing finetuning of P&I’s long-term strategy.
    • Coordinate the annual P&I “hoshin” consensus building (i.e. annual functional target setting).
    • Organize the bi-annual Pan-E HR Conference (i.e. drive the agenda, coordinate the content preparation with various presenters, and own total logistics).
    • Pro-actively influence, inspire and strengthen P&I Management collaboration (through optimising the usage of existing platforms like: All P&I meeting and Management Meetings)

  • 3+ Yeas of experience:
  • In managing a contingen workforce programme and or in a strategically oriented HR role

  • You are driven by facts & figures and you've got an analytical mind
  • Self-starter attitude, taking initiatie and not afraid of responsability
